Victoria has worked in childcare since she was 16 years old. She joined Smallville back in 2021 with a burning passion to inject her unique teaching and approach to the setting. In April 2023, she was promoted to nursery manager. Her unwavering hard work did not go unnoticed and so Victoria was nominated and shortlisted for 'Nursery Manger of the Year' at the Nursery World Awards.
There were a record number of nominations this year, and we were so proud of her to have even made it to the shortlist as this is perhaps the most prestigious award available.We celebrated an evening of early years with practitioners from all over the country and even overseas! A room filled with people just as dedicated as us was just wonderful! 

We did actually come away with two awards that night. We were also awarded the 'working with parents' award, which was another special one to us as we pride ourselves on our parent partnership.
