We are absolutely thrilled to share that we have been named winners of a variety of prestigious awards since opening in 2021. These include awards from Nursery World, NMT Nursery Awards and the Tunbridge Wells Business Awards. Our most recent awards include ‘Nursery Manager of the Year’ and ‘Working with Parents’. This recognition is truly incredible and reflects the dedication, passion and excellence of our fantastic team. We couldn’t have achieved this without the unwavering commitment and hard work of everyone involved with Smallville. Being acknowledged by such esteemed panels is not only a huge honour but a testament to the care we provide to our children at Smallville, we are so proud of our team!
Smallville Nursery, Snodland is set in idyllic surroundings next to a historic building conveniently located in the High Street.
Our staff are warm and welcoming and strive to ensure children feel valued. We understand that children learn best when they are happy and are playing.
We follow the interests of the children and respond to learning in the moment to ensure
we capture those ‘wow’ moments. Children are instinctively curious so
we provide opportunities that nurture their interests and provoke thinking.
When your child starts at any of our settings they will be assigned a Key Person. Their Key Person will support your child to settle in. At Smallville Nursery we believe in child lead learning and we follow the needs and interests of the children. We have small group work times each session and always end the stay with a story or singing.
We believe in building trusting and supportive relationships with families, staff and volunteers. Parent partnership is important in ensuring your child gets the best experience possible whilst at our nursery and we encourage you to attend our regular Parent Partnership Forum meetings to help us continuously shape our services to meet the needs of your children.

We have a fantastic outdoor space where children can enjoy developing a love for nature, have opportunities to take sensible risks and develop and strengthen their core muscles. We also make good use of the cricket ground that is next to the nursery where the children can enjoy a larger outside space too.
Choosing a nursery is an important decision for you and your family. Children are at the forefront of everything we do. We understand the importance of allowing children to learn through play and provide a learning environment that will support and nurture your child’s development.
